About District 1

District 1 is home to just over 23,000 residents and includes many of Orange’s most notable and cherished locations, institutions and establishments: including the Old Towne Historic District, Plaza Park, Orange Public Library & History Center, Hart and Pitcher parks. Chapman University, Orange High School, St. John’s Lutheran Church & School, and CHOC and St. Joseph’s Hospital, just to name a few. It is home to world-class restaurants, schools, antique and collectibles dealers, and businesses small and large. The newly formed District 1 borders Main St. on the West, Tustin St. to the East; Collins Ave. to the North and the 22 Freeway to the South.
